Champagne is always the answer when it comes to throwing a party!
Elaine Stathakis coordinates every event at the Bounty with an elegently creative flare. If your ever looking to take your next event to the next level, to wow your guests and to be spoiled rotten the Bounty is the place for that. This past week Elaine wowed everyone with her vision; a bohemian style Veuve Clicquot Champagne Bar at one of our favorite guest’s BirthChella (a Coachella inspired birthday party). Not only was the bar serving my personal favorite champagne, it became a full on amazingly fun art project for the Bounty Crew to put together!
Elaine came to me with the beautiful idea to freeze roses into the ice for keeping the Veuve Clicqout chilled. So upon her request I put red, yellow and pink rose heads into individual containers, filled them with filtered water and let them freeze for twenty four hours. After a day had passed, I eagerly popped open the ice containers to totally fall in love with the finished product. Once the Champagne buckets were filled with the flower filled ice it was a stunning display. Flower power is a real thing apparently. The birthday girl and her guests thought so too.
We gave the guests their choice of an array of classic champagne cocktails to continue the liquid fun. The Classically delicous Champagne Cocktail made with a single white sugar cube, light dash of angostura bitters and a twist of lemon peel. We offered Saint Germain Cocktails where elderflower liqour and Veuve Cliqout laced together in a bubbly floral combination. The Kir Royal Cocktail, a radiant classic Parisian cocktail, made with just a touch of creme de cassis. The bar was set with accruements to further entertain the guest’s palate: fresh lemon peels, raspberries, black berries, hand craved strawberry roses, seasonal herbs or orange blossom honey with house made lavender sugar rim.

Even when the ice melted away as the party went on into the night, the display of floating roses around chilled Champagne remained an enchanting sight. I look forward to future events with Elaine and the Bounty team. If you want you want to throw a party you won’t soon forget reach out to us and we are at your service.
Drink well, eat well and be happy,
